3 Day 2 Night Rinjani Summit

Mount Rinjani, towering at 3,726 meters above sea level, is one of Indonesia’s highest volcanoes, located on Lombok Island, West Nusa Tenggara. Known for its stunning landscapes, Rinjani offers a perfect blend of lakes, waterfalls, and savannahs, making it a must-visit destination for avid trekkers. One of the most popular and rewarding trekking routes is through Sembalun to Torean. However, this route is best suited for those who are physically fit and experienced in trekking.

Why Choose the Sembalun to Torean Trek?

The Sembalun to Torean trekking package offers breathtaking views throughout the entire journey, from ascent to descent. During this trek, you’ll be accompanied by our experienced guides and porters who will ensure a safe and enriching adventure. The three main highlights of this package include reaching the summit of Mount Rinjani, experiencing the beauty of Segara Anak Lake, and trekking through the Torean route, which resembles a Jurassic Park-like landscape. Additionally, you’ll encounter the stunning Penimbungan Waterfall, a perfect photo opportunity and an unforgettable memory.

Rinjani Trekking Summit 3 Days 2 Night Overview

  • Sembalun: The Starting Point of the Trek. Sembalun, the base for the trek, is known for its relatively gentle terrain, with vast green savannahs that stretch as far as the eye can see. As you trek through this beautiful landscape, you’ll be treated to expansive views of the lush grasslands. This section is relatively easier compared to other routes, making it ideal for first-time Rinjani trekkers.
  • The summit of Mount Rinjani, standing at 3,726 meters (12,224 feet) above sea level, offers one of the most spectacular views in Indonesia. As the second-highest volcano in the country, Rinjani’s peak provides a breathtaking panoramic vista, including a stunning view of the vast Rinjani caldera, Segara Anak Lake, and surrounding mountains like Mt. Agung in Bali and Mt. Tambora in Sumbawa. Reaching the summit of Rinjani is a challenging yet rewarding experience, making it a must-visit destination for avid trekkers and adventure seekers. The sunrise from the peak is truly unforgettable, with the early morning light casting a magical glow over the surrounding landscapes, making it a highlight of any trekking expedition to Rinjani.
  • Segara Anak Lake a Hidden Gem, located at 2,004 meters above sea level, is one of the most remarkable volcanic lakes in the world. Nestled within the caldera of Mount Rinjani and surrounded by the active volcano, Mount Baru Jari, Segara Anak is an extraordinary sight. Here, you will camp, relax by the lake, and enjoy a cozy campfire prepared by our guide and porters. Spending a night by the Segara Anak Lake will undoubtedly be a life-changing experience.
  • Torean: The Challenging Descent. The Torean route is more challenging compared to Sembalun. Unlike the wide open spaces of Sembalun, Torean offers a narrower, steeper path that presents a more intense physical challenge. However, the incredible beauty of nature along this route makes it worth every step. Trekking through dense tropical forests, crossing streams fed by Segara Anak Lake, and witnessing the refreshing Penimbungan Waterfall will create unforgettable memories.
